Gordy & Sam | Downtown Fargo Indoor Engagement Photos
While the weather was still horribly cold, I met up with Gordy and Samantha for their engagement pictures in Downtown Fargo.
Admittedly, the cold wasn't the worst part. For Fargo in January, it actually wasn't that cold. But the wind was i-n-s-a-n-e. Wind gusts at 30mph or more, with windchill warnings. Yikes!
And since Gordy's work schedule made it difficult to reschedule, we opted not to reschedule their engagement session. Instead, we stuck indoors and used some of the neat spaces in Downtown Fargo for their pictures.
Sam assured me that they only needed one or two pictures, but I had to make their drive up from Wyndmere worthwhile! After all, I doubt many people would complain about getting more pictures with their love.
Initially, we hoped to stay put in the coffee shop we met up in, but it was absolutely packed. We didn't want to get in anyone's way, so we opted to find something a little more private.
I quickly noticed how adoringly Gordy looks at Sam. Gosh, he loves her! Just look at that expression.
I just had to include these. Gotta love a couple that loves to have fun!
Sam told me that Gordy's daughters proposed to her, asking her to be their stepmom. Ah, my heart melted! Sam joked that it was all part of Gordy's strategy (so she couldn't say no), but let's just say that's obviously not the case.
Congrats on your engagement, Gordy and Sam! I'm excited to drive down to Wyndmere this year for Sam and Gordy's wedding. I can't wait to see the whole family together and find out a little more about the "Wyndmere broom dance" that Sam mentioned! It's going to be a blast, and I'm lucky to be part of their day.
