Buffalo River State Park Engagement Photos | Travis & Camille
I trekked out to Buffalo River State Park for intimate, fun engagement photos with Travis and Camille!
This young couple had gotten engaged just two weeks before our session together. They (quite wisely, I have to say) quickly moved on all the major details of the wedding: venue and photographer (me! yay!).
Travis and Camille knew they wanted engagement pictures outside before snow comes to the area. We took our chances out at Buffalo River despite the recent wind and gloom in Fargo, ND.
It was 100% worth it! First, we all noticed how surprisingly still the evening was at the state park. Sure, wind billowed up from time to time, but for the most part we had a clear and crisp evening.
And the fall light? Glorious. Just glorious!
But truthfully, light and location are small pieces of the puzzle. Beautiful light makes my heart pitter patter, but couples that are obviously crazy about each other bring my heart to a full stop.
That's exactly what happened while spending time with Travis and Camille. These two are both from the same small town in Minnesota (population under 2,000), so they practically grew up together. So while they are young, their relationship is versed and resolute.
One thing I learned about Travis is that he loves it when Camille smiles. He never outright said that, but man, he sure does like to make her laugh! He was constantly whispering things in her ear that made her whole face light up.
As the sun receded, we visited the very spot that Travis had proposed to Camille, a quiet area on a hill overlooking the river.
Finally, we said goodbye to the sun with a simple silhouette.
Congrats on your engagement, Travis and Camille. I can't wait for your wedding in 2018!
