In early June and one of the hottest days of the year, Emily & Adam were finally married!

Having regretfully rescheduled from their original October 2020 date, the months leading up to their wedding were full of stress. But with talk of the vaccine being ready soon, they put their trust in science and it paid off!

One change from their reschedule was moving to a whole new venue. And it’s a good thing, too — with the 100+ degree heat, we didn’t go outside for the majority of the photos, and I can’t imagine photographing everything in a hotel ballroom. On the other hand, RiverHaven Events Center has lovely white walls and lots of natural light streaming in to help make indoor photos magical.

Emily and Adam shared an intimate, full-of-smiles ceremony. Now, I don’t typically get choked up at weddings, but their heartfelt vow exchange left me dabbing my eyes in the back of the room. I don’t know how their guests managed to hold up (I’m not sure many did)! It’s obvious these two truly, truly care about one another.

Oh, and a random aside — Emily and Adam both work at the Fargo Theatre, a mainstay in our community. Stop in and say hi!

Gotta love little details like this. Adam was so nervous-excited to see Emily that he held on to the bottom of his suit jacket as he spun around!

Pretty sure Adam & Emily win the award for cutest cake toppers ever.
